2012 Toyota Zimbabwe Challenge Rally - 50th Edition.
Husband-and-wife team, Jess & Sasha Watson, win the 2012 Toyota Zimbabwe Challenge Rally.
Jess and Sasha Watson from Zimbabwe made history on Sunday 18 March 2012 when they became the first ever husband and wife team winners of an FIA African Rally Championship event when they drove their Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10 over the finish ramp at the Cresta Lodge in Harare Zimbabwe.
The Watsons lead the rally from start to finish and finished with an overall time of 2:40:17 with a large margin of 7:15 ahead of the second place. Second place went to Zimbabwean drivers Craig Green and Mike Exton in a Mitsubishi Evo8.
